Why notes aren't always good.
This is the note on the computer this morning. Left in the open file we keep as "stuff to do" which whoever gets something adds it to so that others will remember 'cause even though there's not so much amnesia any more memory is still a sieve:
Firefly 4 ferik
rof stuff from hodepoit
shaun epiclev book
publix groc smalls tuff
bank check for pqaycheck
Yeah...some of those are decipherable and some...not quite so sure.

I can make out...
Roof stuff from Home Depot
Pubix groceries, small stuff
Check bank for paycheck
The other two I'm lost on. D:

Thanks. We were able to get translations. It's just funny 'cause of the whole 'let's leave notes! It's helpful!' and 'let's use the computer 'cause there'll be less issue of deciphering people's handwriting...and it has SPELL CHECK' urm...yeah...
The other two in case you're actually curious are instructions to remember to get the Firefly box set for our nephew and a D&D book called "Epic Level Handbook" for a friend.

Heh, I'm glad I've never had that problem with the people up here. XP

I think it's less likely to happen than it might have been before, and at least there's an attempt to leave a note to make sure things get done; last night there was wine tasting and tiredness so that probably contributed to it being indecipherable.

As long as nobody tries to write in a language/script that does not exist on Earth...
I feel sorta bad now that I erased the three sentences of Terran that one time, because the others don't often get front-loud enough to -do- something like that, but it was a homework assignment, and I couldn't really turn it in that way. :P

We do get that sometimes. I'll have to dig up the shots I took of the "interesting script" that I doodled on the white board once or twice. There are some other bits occasionally...that end up looking at bit...strange.
There's also that one time I always remember where I wrote a paper in Religion class and mentioned emigrating and the teacher wrote on it, "So, English is your second language?" "Um...no..." "Hrm..."
